Schaelicke Dirk, Process Engineer
Degree (1995) in Process
and Environmental Engineering, University of Applied Sciences
of Berlin, Germany, specialising in Biological Process
Engineering. He is a holder of an MSc degree (two-year
Master by research in Environmental Policy and Management)
since 2005.
His
research interests focus on olive mill waste management and all aspects of wastewater treatment processes.
He has over 8 years of technical experience in Wastewater treatment plant
construction projects working for private Construction
companies in Patra and on
Lesvos
Island
. From 2001 to 2004 he was Responsible for the Operation of
the Municipal WWTP of Mytilene, Lesvos
Island. He has been a member of the WML scientific research team
since 2000 and has a wide experience in project
management tools due to his participation
in a number of EU-financed waste management research projects.
